All pieces are hand made with inspiration deriving from childhood nostalgia, texture, cut-out collages and colour theory.
pella was created by Petra Calder and Kelly Schaefer in order to unify our friendship through hand-craft belongings. We saw a gap within the knitwear community, misinterpreting the skill of crochet and knitting as a hobby rather than an art. We decided to build a brand that appreciated yarn as a lifestyle, weaving yarn into every aspect of our lives.
